Carelink Support Assistants x 3 posts (18.66 hours per week)

Grade E £15,725 - £16,830  (pro rata) plus additional payment for night standby and call- outs

The ''Carelink'' service is a 24-hour community alarm and mobile warden service to enable elderly, disabled and vulnerable people to live independently in the community. We are looking for enthusiastic, caring persons to join a committed team providing  support services and response to emergency alarm calls throughout the High Peak area. This service operates 24 hours per day, 7 days a week, 365 days per year.  You must have experience in a caring role and be able to cope with stressful situations. This is a challenging yet rewarding role, you must have excellent communication skills and you should also be able to deal with emergencies calmly and confidently. Posts average 18.66 hours per week worked as day shifts 8.30am-5pm plus 2 night standbys per week where you are required to be at home to respond to emergency calls overnight. Applicants will need to live locally in order to respond to these calls within our set targets.

Relief Carelink Support Assistants 

Grade E (£8.15 - £8.72  per hour) plus Standby allowance of £19.83

We are looking for enthusiastic, caring persons to join a committed team on a relief basis. You will be required to provide support services and respond to emergency alarm calls throughout the High Peak area.  This service operates 24 hours per day, 7 days a week, 365 days per year.  This is a relief post with no regular contracted hours. The successful candidate will provide holiday and sickness cover.
