As seen in the Inside Housing Magazine this week, the new body known as the National Tenant Council met for the first time this week. This is a new chapter in tenant empowerment. Tenants have been selected from across the UK and from a variety of backgrounds, ages and cultures, 42 of the people in the photograph above are charged with influencing government policy and housing practice.
From the High Peak, and tenants of High Peak Community Housing, the new National Tenant Council includes Agnes Bradley and John Jennings.
