Equalities
We have a group made up of tenants and staff who are very keen to ensure that all our services are delivered fairly to everyone and that these services are accessible to all. Recently we have been working on a variety of issues and the group wanted everyone to know what they are about, and their aims.
The group recognises that everyone within the High Peak should be treated equally and and differences valued. We will work to challege where this is not happening and give full support at all times to ensure that the company's policies and procedures reflect this.
The aims of the group are as follows:
- To remove any barriers
- To challenge where inequality is found
- To give full support ensuring that High Peak Community Housing's policies and procedures are fair and accessible to all
- To review and monitor progress of the Equalities and Diversity Strategy and all equality impact assessments.
